Introduction
Advanced Plus Power 60, Course A is an online course, consisting of 50 units of English, and providing approximately 60 hours of study for students.
Course aims
This course is designed for Advanced Plus, CEFR C2 students to refine and perfect their English skills at the highest level. It focuses on mastering complex grammar structures, expanding advanced vocabulary, and developing fluency in all four core skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Grammar
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Master complex conditional structures, including mixed and advanced hypothetical conditionals.
- Use advanced passive constructions, including causative forms and impersonal structures.
- Employ inversion for stylistic emphasis in formal writing and speaking.
- Use cleft and pseudo-cleft sentences for emphasis and focus.
- Handle complex modal verb forms to express probability, necessity, and regret.
Vocabulary
By the end of the course, students will have acquired approximately 700 new lexical items, focusing on topics such as law, international relations, business, and scientific innovation.
Skills
