Introduction
Pre-Intermediate Power 60, Course B is an online course, consisting of 50 units of English, and providing approximately 60 hours of study for students.
Course aims
To continue the journey started in Pre-Intermediate Power 60, Course A, guiding students towards CEFR B1 level. This course further develops essential grammar, vocabulary, and the four core language skills: reading, listening, writing, and speaking.
Grammar
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Use past tenses (simple and continuous) to narrate past events.
- Use future forms including “will”, “going to”, and present continuous.
- Form and use comparatives and superlatives.
- Use modals for possibility, advice, and obligation.
- Correctly use countable and uncountable nouns.
- Understand and use zero, first, and second conditionals.
Vocabulary
By the end of the course, students will have learned approximately 400 additional lexical items.
Skills
Students will have practiced listening to and reading a wide variety of texts, including those about travel, hobbies, personal opinions, and experiences.
