Introduction
Intermediate Power 60, Course B is an online course, consisting of 50 units of English, and providing approximately 60 hours of study for students.
Course aims
To continue the journey started in Intermediate Power 60, Course A, guiding students towards CEFR B2 level. This course further develops grammar, vocabulary, and the four core skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Grammar
By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Use third conditional to talk about hypothetical situations in the past.
- Form and use reported speech to relay what someone else has said.
- Use modal verbs in the past to express probability and certainty.
- Form and use complex sentences with clauses of reason, contrast, and result.
- Use advanced prepositions and conjunctions correctly.
Vocabulary
By the end of the course, students will have learned approximately 500 additional lexical items related to work, technology, travel, and education.
Skills
Students will have practiced reading and listening to a variety of texts, including those related to global trends, technology, and personal development.
