On behalf of 48+ per cent of the country, as well as the millions of disenfranchised would be “Remain” voters outside the UK, I apologise for the insult that my country has sent to Europe. Please do not think that we are all like that. Britain will for sure be a poorer country for having voted to turn our backs on our friends.
