Giving Directions
- Turn back/Go back
- Turn left/right .. (into Oxford Street) at the end of .. (the road.)
- Go along … (Morecombe drive.)
- Cross .. (over the bridge.)
- Take the first/second road on the left/right.
- It’s on the left/right.
- Go up/down … (the hill.)
- It’s about … (50 metres) from here.
- It’s on your right/left.
- It’s in the middle of the block.
- It’s on the corner.
- It’s next to / across from / between / in front of…. (the museum.)
- Drive to … (Well Street) and turn left.
- Go straight ahead.
- I’m 3 doors down from the bank.
- We’re next door but one from the garage (means: ‘two doors away’)
- Just around the corner.
- It’s over the back of the park
- It’s on the ground/first/second floor.
