Introduction<\/h3>

Elementary Power is an online course, consisting of 100 units of English, and providing approximately 120 hours of study for students.<\/p>

Course aims<\/h3>

To take students from Elementary, CEFR A1 up to A2. The course blends grammatical structures necessary for this level, with vocabulary, spelling, reading, listening, writing, and speaking.<\/p>

Grammatica<\/h3>
  • Use present simple and present continuous verb forms, as well as simple past with regular and irregular verbs.<\/li>
  • Identify things using “there is\/there are”, “have got”, possessive adjectives and pronouns, and the possessive genitive.<\/li>
  • Use comparative and superlative adjectives.<\/li>
  • Create yes\/no and information questions.<\/li>
  • Use prepositions to give information about time and place.<\/li>
  • Use modal verbs “can” and “could”.<\/li>
  • Use adverbs of frequency.<\/li><\/ul>

    Woordenschat<\/h3>

    By the end of the course, students will have learned approximately 800 lexical items, including common nouns, verbs, and adjectives, and simple lexical sets.<\/p>

    Skills<\/h3>

    By the end of the course, students will have practiced reading and listening to everyday routines, biographies, countries and cities, TV and films, and simple stories.<\/p>
