Introduction<\/span><\/h3>

Let\u2019s Go, Starters is an online course, consisting of 30 units of English, and providing approximately 60 hours of study for students.<\/p>

Course aims<\/h3>
  • To give students at Beginner, CEFR A0 level practice in exam-style questions from the Cambridge Starters examination.<\/li>
  • The course tests students\u2019 knowledge of different linguistic devices and lexis required for the exam.<\/li><\/ul>

    \u0393\u03c1\u03b1\u03bc\u03bc\u03b1\u03c4\u03b9\u03ba\u03ae<\/h3>
    • Understand simple sentences about things around them, like \u2018This is a chair\u2019, \u2018I like my school\u2019, \u2018That\u2019s my pen\u2019.<\/li>
    • Respond to personal questions on topics such as age, family, and their home.<\/li>
    • Recognise the letters of the English alphabet.<\/li>
    • Write the letters of the English alphabet and spell their name and simple words.<\/li>
    • Understand simple expressions of communication, such as \u2018Hello\u2019, \u2018How are you?\u2019, \u2018Thank you\u2019.<\/li>
    • Respond to simple expressions of communication with \u2018Yes, please\u2019, \u2018Sorry\u2019, \u2018I don\u2019t understand\u2019.<\/li>
    • Read short, simple words and the names of some objects, such as animals, toys, and clothes.<\/li>
    • Write simple sentences about themselves and their family.<\/li>
    • Understand and follow simple classroom instructions given by the teacher, such as \u2018Open your book\u2019, \u2018Read the question\u2019, \u2018Listen to me\u2019.<\/li>
    • Listen to and repeat words and phrases appropriate to the level after their teacher.<\/li>
    • Understand simple written instructions, for example how they should do an exercise in their coursebook.<\/li>
    • Recognise and copy words, phrases, and short sentences from a text, a book, or the board in the classroom.<\/li><\/ul>
